Martha Kennedy - My Story - "Let me be the one" to help you with your real estate needs.

My life before real estate was corporate sales and sales management with Eastman Kodak and Sprint PCS.  During that time, I won numerous awards and some great trips!  It was necessary to exercise marketing and negotiating skills every day.  Establishing national account contracts with Fortune 500 companies requires an enormous amount of negotiating.  I found, however, that what I enjoyed most was the interfacing I did with people.  And, I decided that I would rather interface on a personal level  than a business level--thus, my reason for choosing real estate several years ago as a career to fulfill those desires. My experience in sales and marketing equips me with the skills necessary to make your life much easier during the stressful times of buying and selling your home.  I specialize in Active Adult Communities, and young adult communities in Canton and Woodstock, although I can help in other areas of the city.  And, if you have a Real Estate Property that is well beyond my scope, I can make sure you are introduced to another agent who does specialize in your area.

I have lived in the Roswell/Marietta/Woodstock area for the past 24 years and have worked all over the city and outlying counties, so I know the area well.  As a wife and mother who has bought and sold several personal homes (and corporate relocations), I understand the emotions involved in finding just the right home and finding a buyer for yours.

I was born in Missouri, so I have that "show me" attitude and can certainly understand yours!  I am a mother of three and a grandmother to three beautiful little girls.

I love to travel.  I have vacationed in the South Pacific, Scotland, a lot of countries in Europe and all around the Caribbean and Mediterranean along with a tour of the Holy Land in Israel.  I have participated in church mission trips to places like Suriname and Guyana in South America; Siberia in Russia; Hong Kong and Bejing China; Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Zambia in Africa.

I enjoy reading the Bible, autobiographies, biographies and every now and then, a good Grisham fiction novel.  I enjoy poetry and the stage and I love to eat out!  But, I also like to entertain at home.

I have two volunteer activities that are my favorite: spiritually mentoring recovering addicts and my CASA for abused and neglected children work.  I am a CASA in Cherokee County.
